Community is Key 🗝
One of the greatest treasures in life is community, and it is needed now more than ever. To find like minded people, who share the same passions, your tribe, is truly a gift. We live in a world that can feel lonely, and it can feel easier to isolate sometimes, but once you are out with your people, there’s no other feeling like it. While solo time to recharge is important, being with our sanghas is just as important. The Yin and the Yang.
Outside of my yoga, sound, and music communities, my ocean conservation community is equally important. It rounds out what I jokingly call my holy trinity that makes me, ME. And there is one organization and group that has shaped my marine life in SF, The International Ocean Film Foundation and Festival.
A chance encounter led me to helping spread the word on the California shark fin ban, and that work brought me straight to this festival community, and I was hooked! This community led me to naturalist training, working on tour boats at the Farallones, tagging sharks in the bay, and even spending time in South Africa, doing a volunteer internship with great whites and other species at Oceans Research Institute.
I have been volunteering for this organization for over a decade in a variety of ways, but my main role the past few years is that I coordinate our Ocean Heroes, the organizations you see in the lobby tabling throughout the weekend, who bring their passion, knowledge, and causes for outreach and education.
We just had our Off the Reef Benefit and it brought me so much joy to be back in this community, to see so many people giving so generously to a worthy cause. It got me very excited for the main event, which is April 10-12 at the Cowell Theater in Fort Mason. You can come for individual programs, days, or the whole event. We also have an online program running April 13–24 featuring different films than what we're showing in person, so make sure to check that out!
Our goal is to use impactful ocean storytelling through independent film to give audiences the opportunity to learn about the importance of ocean environments and conservation, and to become better ocean protectors and defenders. Our ocean needs us now more than ever, and you will meet amazing people working on the front lines of defending it. I hope to SEA you all there!

Rest to Reset 😌
I have some lovely offerings outside of my regular schedule to help with deep relaxation and recharging. While we are moving towards even longer days and higher energy seasons, it’s still important to find time to slow down and give you and your nervous system the gift of rest.
Rooted in Radiance ✨Rested in Sound 🎶
An Immersive Embodiment & Sound Healing Journey collaboration with Chich and myselfi. Chichi is an extraordinary embodiment coach and one of my absolute favorite people. I am so excited for this next collaborations with her!
6-7:30pm
You have a vision for your life. This evening is about feeling it in your body, not someday, but now.
Join us for a transformative evening of somatic embodiment and sound healing. We’ll begin with guided breathwork to help you drop into your body, release what’s holding you back, and connect with the version of yourself you’re ready to embody — the one who already holds what you’re creating.
From there, you’ll move through gentle stretching and intuitive movement to prepare the body for stillness, followed by a deeply restorative sound bath. Through intentional frequencies and vibration, your nervous system is supported in integrating all that has just been opened, moved, and felt.
You’ll leave feeling more than rested. You’ll leave feeling reconnected, regulated, and returned to yourself.
🔥 Fire Elemental Sound Bath 🔥
The Castro Room
May 2 1:30-3pm
Ignite your inner flame and awaken your creative life force through the activating frequencies of our Fire Elemental Sound Bath. This energizing yet intentional journey is designed to support transformation, clarity, and renewal by working with the dynamic and purifying qualities of the fire element, calming the nervous system while stoking passion and vitality through sound.
Perfectly timed around Beltane — which translates to “bright fire” this seasonal gateway celebrates transition, cleansing, and the growing power of the sun at the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. In Celtic tradition, fire rituals and bonfires were used to honor rebirth, protection, and intention setting.
We will embrace the element and begin with intention setting, ritual, gentle movement, and breathwork, followed by an Audio Alchemy fire-curated sound bath, featuring a backing track produced by @darko.sf, with me facilitating live sound to match using crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, and other elemental instruments.
The Fire Element is associated with transformation, passion, willpower, and vitality, as well as the Solar Plexus (Manipura) Chakra, the color yellow/gold, and the musical note E
In Indian tradition, Fire is known as Agni, the sacred force of digestion and transformation. Agni is said to exist in three forms: fire, lightning, and the sun ,representing power, illumination, and life force.
Fire governs both physical and energetic digestion, helping us metabolize not only food, but experiences, emotions, and intentions, clearing what no longer serves and fueling forward movement.
Feel free to bring a journal and pen for reflections, and anything that helps you stay comfortable, eye mask, extra pillows, blankets, or cozies
